This Atlanta basement was already rich with dark millwork, leather seating and traditional detail. The right table needed to belong there—and still feel like the centerpiece. It is one example of the made-to-order work we create for clients exploring custom tables in Atlanta and North Atlanta.
We built the complete poker table in solid walnut, set it on our Harris pedestal, and paired the warm wood with library-green Las Vegas velvet and satin brass cup holders. An illuminated inner rail brings a restrained modern note to the classic game-room palette.

The faceted walnut rail gives every player a generous place setting without making the table feel bulky. Eight brass cup holders punctuate the top, while the rounded profile softens the basement’s strongly rectangular architecture.
Why it works in the room
The walnut repeats the basement’s wall paneling and architectural millwork, but the natural grain keeps the table from disappearing into the background. The green velvet connects directly to the patterned carpet, giving the room a deliberate color story.
Brass introduces warmth beside the leather seating and traditional lamps, while the illuminated rail bridges the traditional room with its contemporary media setup. The result feels collected, not themed.

The workshop story begins with curved walnut sections, precision-machined cup-holder openings and a carefully assembled rail. Each joint and grain transition matters because the finished piece is viewed from every seat.
