It all started here. The Clayton dining farm table was the first design created by Rustic Trades founder Clay Adams for his new bride, Maggie, almost 10 years ago. She wanted a farm table that they could raise a family around. A rustic dining table crafted with real, quality materials that would last their lifetime. After their first Thanksgiving around the dining table, Clay asked Maggie, “What should we call it?” She insisted on The Clayton.

A simple farmhouse, harvest table design made to embrace the history of dining. Our signature color is made entirely of rustic cherry and poplar hardwoods perfectly colored with a multi-layered dark stain with a light satin finish. For the top we start with a breadboard at each head and stretch our rustic, rough-sawn planks from one end to the next.
No two Clayton Dining Tables are alike. Real wood has just as much personality as a fun 3 year old child. We embrace the natural knots and holes of each board we use. We pride ourselves on the awe factor each time a customer "finally" gets to see the table in person. They are always surprised how the rustic, distressed appearance is amazingly smooth to the touch.
