Meet Our Georgia Team!
Meet our founder and President, Clay Adams. The table he promised his wife he’d make has grown into everything that Rainier Furniture is! He is our biggest visionary and creative. He leads Rainier with energy and excitement – ready to take on every new opportunity! When he isn’t in the showroom managing Sales & Marketing, connecting with team members, sketching up custom tables, or making commercial sales you can find him outside or spending time with his wife and three kids!
Sales and Customer Relations
Elise has been on our team since the beginning. She is our powerhouse saleswoman and brings so much energy to our team. She is a doer! If you’ve placed an order with us, you’ve most likely gotten to know her well. Elise has done it all – she is an ex classical pianist, college athlete, and otherwise known as “Rainier Furniture Mom.” Elise loves spending time with her 2 beautiful daughters, amazing husband, and 2 yellow labs!
As our Project Manager, Maggie leads the way on our financials, human resources, and internal efforts of Rainier. Not only is she organized and a go-getter, she’s creative! She has a thriving Custom Wedding Floral business where she designs beautiful floral arrangements.
She is the wife to our founder, Clay, and outside of work she can be found spending time with him, watching their kids play sports, or leading high school students through InsideOut. We are happy to have Maggie on our team!
Marketing + Website Manager
Mariana is our Marketing and Website Manager that works on everything behind the scenes. You’ll find her working on social media or adding cool things to our websites. She’s from Miami, Florida and has been with Rainier since October of 2022. Fun fact about her is that she is a student at St John’s University in New York. She will be a Senior this fall of 2023 and will return to New York then as well!
Lead Engineer and Project Manager
Mitch is our Lead Engineer and Project Manager! You can find him in the shop working on Refined Industrial projects, designing custom pieces for our commercial clientele. Mitch’s family owned a cabinet shop when he was a kid and after high school joined the apprenticeship program where he began to learn the ins and outs of cabinetry. After working as an apprentice and seeing the cabinet industry modernize, he decided to go back to school and learn how to engineer fixtures and cabinets. Mitch’s knowledge and expertise make him a key player on our team! When he isn’t in the shop he is spending time with family, playing sports with his kids, or teaching them about new technology.
Zach enjoys woodworking because he loves the process of seeing rough lumber become something exquisite. One of Rainier’s craftsmen, Jordan, got Zach into woodworking a few years ago and he has been a great addition ever since.
Zach flourishes in the creativity and challenge that comes with this craft. Anyone who knows Zach knows his deep passion for music. He’s either listening to music, playing, sharing it, or attending a concert any chance he has.
David is one of our talented senior craftsman. He specializes in building our farm tables, specifically our tops. David enjoys working in this trade as it keeps him busy and sustains his merriness.
He is a Georgia native and enjoys spending time with his three dogs.
There is no one like David and he makes the shop fun and interesting!
Jordan is a fun member of our team at the Shop! He started with us as one of our very first craftsmen and recently rejoined our team. He specializes in making samples and spraying all of our furniture with precision and craft.
When Jordan is not working hard in the shop you can find him hanging out with friends and family or doing something outdoors. He’s passionate about his faith and spends a lot of time mentoring men younger than him.
John Michael Brown
Logistics Coordinator & Senior Craftsman
John Michael serves as our Logistics Coordinator and Senior Craftsmen. He has been in the woodworking trade for over five years and has a wide skillset that encompasses almost everything we create at Rainier Furniture. When he is not at work, he can be found rock climbing or doing Jiu-Jitsu. He is married to his wife Lexie and has a cat named Rufus. He lost his finger to a bear attack while backpacking! We are so glad to have him on our team.
Stephen is a brand new addition to our team at the Shop! He enjoys woodworking because it gives him the ability to be creative. He began his career in woodworking, similar to our founder, building furniture for his family.
Quickly he was hooked and began building for friends and neighbors! Stephen has spent the past 8 years brewing craft beer and enjoys spending time with family on the weekends.
Logistics Coordinator & Senior Craftsman
Meet Sam! He is a new member of our Production Team. He got connected with Rainier Furniture through our founder. Clay served as Sam’s Insideout leader a few years ago. Now Sam helps us with deliveries, maintenance at the shop, and fills in the gaps wherever is needed.
Sam is a student at Kennesaw State University where he’s highly involved with his Fraternity. Sam works with us part-time in between his class schedule.
